Monica Aidoo is one of the original team members who helped found Global Brigades Ghana back in 2011. Monica earned her degree in education at the University of Education, Wenneba. She has worn many hats in her career: teacher, entrepreneur, manager of her own business, waitress at one of the biggest hotels in Ghana, and of course, a coordinator for Global Brigades. Her teaching skills are apparent on each and every brigade that Monica leads in Ghana. In addition to teaching, Monica is also very passionate about the sustainable development that Global Brigades is making in her community. She is inspired by the empowerment of Global Brigades’ staff, volunteers, and communities we serve.

In her free time, Monica loves cooking for her family, teaching young children at school, dancing and singing with her students, and spending time with her family.
